Submissions

Queries and completed news and feature stories about the solo lifestyle are accepted for editorial review.  Topics include culture, trends, and interesting people doing interesting things in the areas of work, environment, travel, community, recreation, healthcare, etc. We are interested in real stories about independent solos and in stories with information helpful to solos.  Book and movie reviews will be considered.  An occasional humor piece will be considered.  We are not interested in promotional pieces.  Articles should inform, entertain, and provide insight.

We invite articles between 250 and 1500 words, with the preferred length 500 to 750 words. Accompanying photos and illustrations are invited for review.

Unfortunately, we cannot pay at this time, nor can we do extensive editing, so please polish the manuscript before submitting it for review.  If accepted for publication, the author will retain second North American rights and will receive a byline.
